any feat/ability that allows different sources of DR to stack?

See title of thread. Specifically, I'm talking about redundant DR, like barbarian + adamantine armor (both /-), or angel + righteous might (both /evil), or celestial + grick (hey, it could happen! - both /magic), etc. I know a very few DRs mention in their descriptions "this stacks with other DR of the same type," but I wondered if there was a generic way to do that.

I'm guessing "no," but I'm also guessing that if anyone would know, they'd frequent this forum. :)

An adamantine warforged can take a feat to increase its DR/Adamantine, and the feat description says it may be taken multiple times, and stacks. Any other warforged can take the feat, but only once.

Epic feats increase DR. Aside from that, there's a feat that increases a barbarian's DR, but it's not the generic sort of thing you want.

Yeah, I wondered. I guess it's potentially too powerful, since you could get a DR over 15 that way (two of my mentioned combos could get to 20 that way). Then again, if it limited your "stacking" of DRs to a max of 15... Hmm... *dangerously close to turning this into a HR thread* :)

Also

The "fey feats" from complete mage stack with warlock DR.
I think there is a feat in BoED that increases natural DR. Not 100% sure.
I think there is an item in MiC that stacks with existing DR.

DR 15/- is hardcore. Even stoneskin is 10/adamantine, and that's a pricey spell. Of course, at level 20 it's not likely to be an issue, so it should be fine if you're going to build a homebrewed DR feat tree. In fact, I built one a couple years back, but I didn't specify an explicit cap; I just made it impossible to get very high DR due to the outrageous number of feats it would take.

Congrats.

I think all 3 of us are in the MiC discussion thread, so I assumed he knew about the "stackable DR 5/-" armor crystal. ;)

Ahh, now that's a keeper! Is that a "greater" gem that can stack with adamantine or barbarian DR then? The fey feats are also interesting, I remember that now...
