Any games?

I see lots of concepts talked about in brief but no one seems too interested in the styles I commented on. (Pirates, musketeers, and/or Wild West?)
Well, my 'Zorro' game would be swashbucklers and bandits and pirates c. 1800 California, which is both in the West and pretty wild... ;)

Oops… I missed that one. :o

As one of the major influences behind my avatar I think I could enjoy a Zorro based game. :D

If I ever run another Sidewinder game, it will be in the era you mentioned, BS. I wouldn't expect it any time soon, though. My current one is moving veeeerrrrry slowly.

I know. We've talked about that era and that game before. :) and I was and am prepared to wait for it. :)

That would definitely be the easiest for me to run right now - the 'Great Game' game would be kind of exhausting on top of my other historically-intensive PbP.

Give me a few weeks and I'll see what I can come up with...

On a possible useful sidenote, I highly recommend the fairly recent Zorro novel by Isabelle Allende (I think that was her name anyways).

I have it but I haven't read it yet - I didn't want to consciously or unconsciously take too much from the novel and have it show up in the game, as I'm trying to stay closer to the original Johnstone McCulley stories for inspiration.

It looks great though, and I'm looking forward to the new movie, The Legend of Zorro - it will be great to see CZJ in a tight bodice again! :o
