No. I wouldn't use it.

For me, character creation is an interative process. The various moving parts of each character interact in ways that I would not imagine when I begin the process. Spellcasters are especially iterative for me because of the spell-choice variables.

There's a truism in teaching, whether it's elementary school or university: if you have a question, it's likely that other people have the same question.

Some people don't like to point out they need clarification, because putting yourself out there may make other people look down on you. But ask anyway, because you're not only doing yourself a favor, you're helping everyone out there who is too embarrassed to ask the same thing. Even if it's a dumb question where you're the only one in need of the answer, it won't help you to sit in ignorance.

So yeah, absolutely go ahead and make your guide. You never know who it might help. Even if it only ends up benefiting you, that's still a win.

IMO it has you doing things out of order. For me, it didn't make sense like that. Additionally, I felt it sort of "glossed over" some stuff, especially when it came to backgrounds and how to figure out your attack bonus, and other detailed information. It was a lot of "how do I come up with that?" type of stuff for me.

All my opinion, and perhaps I am just a little dense, and nobody else had issues trying to figure all of it out. That's why I decided to have a poll. Perhaps I was the only one with such issues?

Having said that, now that I do understand it, I relaize it's in the book, just not in a way that feels logically laid out or especially clear IMO.

If it's poorly written, of course, make your own better. Good for you.

3 more days left before the poll closes, and it appears that a majority of you are not in need of the guide. This is actually why I did the poll, to be honest. I figured if it wasn't really needed, then I would have spent a lot of time typing for no real reason. LOL!
