Any news on d20 Delta Green?

It looks like its back out-of-stock again. I just checked and it said "unavailable". I don't know how many copies they initially got, but it looks like they sold fast.

I placed an order through Paizo about a week ago, but my order status has been stuck as "pending." After waiting a couple of days and also noticing that the book's status had become "unavailable," I sent an email to customer service to see what was going on -- if Paizo wouldn't be able to fill my order, I wanted to start looking elsewhere ASAP.

I got a nice response, which said "Your copy of the Delta Green Hardcover has been ordered, and should be at our warehouse soon." I'm still a little wary, though, given the total frak-up saga around this book.

The customer service rep also said

Our website says that it is currently unavailable because our distributor doesn't have any extra copies on hand at this time. This does not mean that it will never become available again, just that for the moment, we can't order more from our distributor.

Woohoo! Got mine today from FRPGames (shipped last Friday, they are in California, so it takes a week to get to me).

It really is a hefty book, bigger than you'd think it would be from the page count.

Just ordered mine from Arkham Bazaar. It's too bad they were out of the CSI:Arkham hats. I would have really liked one of those.

Got mine the other day. Also pre-ordered the DG: Eyes Only chapbook reprint. Oh, the poor wallet!

Thanks for posting this link! I wasn't aware that they were taking pre-orders for this yet, and I wanted to get mine in as quickly as possible.

As for Delta Green, my local gaming store got one- and only one- copy shipped in. And it's currently in the hold bin with my name on it.

I got mine from Thalmin's store today! I'm quite happy, since he only got four, and I called less than a week ago to order mine; all of them are gone now.

But there is no way I'm spending $16 on shipping on a $40 book!! Media mail ought to cost about $2 or $3 for a book of that weight, maximum, but they chose not to offer it.

Well, they just lost my business. I'll wait to find it at my FLGS, or for Paizo to get it back in stock.

I expect to get screwed on shipping. I'm surprised though that you found Paizo cheaper for shipping. Last time I ordered from them it was about the same for shipping costs.

Actually, I hadn't checked Paizo. I was just making a (foolish) assumption that they'd offer a cheaper method. If they don't, I won't order from them, either.

Companies need to start offering media mail. Some of us are willing to wait the extra few weeks to avoid paying an additional 35-50% in shipping. :\
