Any rules out there for lariats?

I find it kind of odd never to see any rules for lassoing things, especially with the dearth of uses for Use Rope as a skill.

I think it should be possible to lasso a bit of overhanging terrain as quieter alternative to using a grapnel. And of course, I'd like to see rules for lassoing an opponent. Has anyone seen these kind of rules?

Just looked them up in BoED. Pretty disappointing in that User Rope doesn't come in to play. And a lasso is an exotic weapon, which once again shows what a poorly-executed concept exotic weapon proficiencies are. :\
