Any word yet on 3.5 Paladins?

CrusaderX

First Post
In the most recent Previews comic book catalogue (May 2003), the new D&D 3.5 books are advertised. Under the description for the Players Handbook, it says the following:

Notable revisions feature changes to character classes to make them more balanced, including updates to the bard, druid, monk, paladin, and ranger.

I've heard alot of talk about the new bard and ranger, and some talk about the druid and monk. But I've heard nothing regarding the 3.5 paladin. Has any 3.5 paladin info been released? Has there been a thread on this that I missed? (which is quite possible) Or might this just be inaccurate ad copy?

I might get in trouble for this, but paladin mounts are now giant toads.

I think that's a huge mistake on WotC's part, but we'll see how this change is received.

It's not inaccurate; they got at least one very interesting change. I don't believe it has been revealed, though.

I assume that this doesn't relate to the extra smites/day that the Blackguard teaser suggests? How interesting...

And apparently, it is also different from the Aura of Good that the Blackguard excerpt also implies... so what else could it be?

I think I heard from the grapevine that they spread out some of the early stuff they get a bit more through the early levels but I don't think that would count as the "interesting thing".
