Anyone buying Dreamblade?

I played a demo game at my FLGS, and ended up buying 2 starters and 6 boosters. Dreamblade is a really cool, fun game, with lots of tactical elements, but simple enough my non-gamer friends can get into it. I sat down the other night with a non-gamer friend and we played a game in about 45 min- she loved it, and was going to go pick up a starter and booster for herself. I never liked D&D minis, and the metal fantasy minis are better than the D&D prepainted plastic ones, but the Dreamblade minis are awesome, and are not the kind of minis you can get in metal. I also run horror games, so these minis are perfect for that too. Overall I've been really impressed with this game, and will buy lots more of the boosters and expansions for it. I haven't bought much from WotC in the last year, but they may start seeing more $ from me if they keep Dreamblade going.

A friend and I split a starter set of these. It was actually quite fun, and some of the minis are rather stylish, but I don't plan on buying boosters more than occassionally. I will say that I love the stats being printed on the base and that the quality of painting, from what I've seen, is consistently satisfactory.

Some of these characters would make great encounters for a D&D game. I may have to run a one-shot using minis sometime.

Does anyone have recommendations for sellers you've bought Dreamblade singles from? Specifically, it would be nice to find reliable trustworthy sellers of singles at good prices who provide combined shipping costs to save on shipping. There are a couple such sellers for D&D minis, and hopefully there will be some for these minis too.

Could someone who has both please post some side-by-side comparison pics of Dreamblade and DDM figs (medium and large please)?

Thanks!

Here you go. They seem to be pretty much the same scale, once you adjust for the fact that the Dreamblade bases are thicker.

Should just done Magic the Mini game. Seriously, they should have.

such a cool idea. wizards has been dying for an excuse to just say "screw innovating, let's just start re-hashing the old cards" and this is the perfect way to do it. I'm all for it too. MTG jumped the shark during the odyssey block. Force of Nature mini? Sign me up. Shauku, Endbringer represented in her 2 inch glory? Oh yeah. An excuse to make a gigantic Phyrexian Dreadnaught? The sheer amazingness of it all makes my brain explode.

One of my friends went and bought the starter set and a booster and played it last night at my university gaming club. It moved quickly and the minis were interesting. Wish I had the cash to pursue a minis game--since the minis could be useful for my Call of Cthulhu game and my D&D games Dreamblade would be a front runner.
