Anyone else not have their GenCon badge?

Well got an email back...

Your account had a shipping method set to Will Call. Your badge will be available at the Will Call booth.

-Gen Con Registration

I just don't remember the setting and hell if I can find it! :) I wonder if it was default. :eek:

I got my response back as well. Apparently I had been upgraded to an exhibitor somehow, perhaps as a result of MEG Hal signing me up for some official game demos. So, they said that my badge would be available at the exhibitor booth.

Odd.

I think that "Will Call" WAS the default. I seem to vaguely recall having to change it to have it mailed to me.

I'm in the same situation. I don't recall selecting "Will Call", and I wouldn't have done so if I had a different option.

If they did default it to "Will Call", this is (in my professional opinion as a web developer) a poor design choice.... not that I'm very impressed with the GenCon web site to begin with.

::sigh::

Once again, this is a total farce. . . .

You'd think for $60 they'd be able to put together a solid website, organized administration of play tickets, and and overall ease-of-visit system.

Instead we'll have 4 hour lines, a website with more KLUNK than a 20 year pontiac, and lost badges and registrations.

C'mon Peter. . . . shame on you all.

I still haven't gotten mine. :mad:

They snubbed P-Kitty? Ouch.

What's the email address you're supposed to send inquires to? It appears that they redesigned the website, and I can't find the bloody thing anywhere. (Or, referencing Paladinwife's post, are we not supposed to send anything there at all? And, if we're supposed to call instead of email, are they open are Saturdays?)

This entire process is a major hassle and all around pain in the butt. Glad to see they're sticking with tradition.
