Anyone know a good PrC for a fae druid?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this; mods, lemme know if I should move it, please.

I'm playing a druid, and I've been toying with the idea of branching out into a PrC. The most-appropriate-looking one, based on what I've done so far, is the Tamer of Beasts. But I'm thinking that I'd really like to go a different direction: I'd like to become increasingly fae.

Are there any PrCs based around this concept -- perhaps that end with the PC's creature type changing t ofae?

There isn't one that I know of, but it's a cool idea, and I'm sure you could probably come up with one yourself. Just model it after one of the other "I turn into some other type" PrCs and wham bam you're done.

And yes, this is an appropriate forum for the question. It's basically a "is there a rule for a PrC like this?" Besides, this forum is pretty liberal... as long as it involves discussion of stuff that's in the books, it's fine.

There are two prestige classes that I know of that would be appropriate, if you were an arcane caster. First is the Feyspeaker, that's in Asgard Magazine #2. It's a nice PrC, and it's possible for druids to take it, but the spell restrictions make it much better suited for sorcerers than druids.

The Heartwarder from Faiths and Pantheons becomes a Fey at tenth level, and works for arcane or divine casters. But you've got to be a worshipper of Sune, and the class abilities aren't particularly fey-like, either.

Have you considered the Geomancer? If you add some new "drifts" that are more fey-like, and take a couple levels of Illusionist or Sorcerer, it could fit very well.

Interesting ideas! Is Asgard Magazine publicly available somewhere? geomancer probably won't work, although I'll take another look at it. And next time I'm in my LGS, I'll take a look at the Heartwarder for ideas.

Thanks!

You're welcome!

Asgard is available, for free, right here:
http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/news...e=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=8

It's done by EN World's very own Natural 20 press, and the Feyspeaker is a creation of Ranger Wickett.
