D&D 4E Anyone make a Binder class for 4E?

Required feats for ultimate Binder hotness:

Ritual Caster, Augmented Pacts, Vestige Versatility

Augmented Pacts would be the feat that allows you to gain Pact Augmentations. The Pact Augmentations will be tweaked to remove most of the attack/damage boosters, but to include Augments that allow you to keep powers of your original class when you bind.

Vestige Versatility allows you to keep your own class features when you are bound to a Vestige so long as you make a good pact.

I'd say that Augmented Pacts is a Heroic Tier feat and that Vestige Versatility is a Paragon Tier feat with slightly steep requirements.

Guys this is simply awesome stuff.....keep it up, I like the feat Idea as well, and the option of a paragon path sounds cool as hell if we can work out the bumps you guys have mentioned, I look forward to this topic more each day!!

So you don't want to keep the other 2 feats that let you keep your powers while binding a vestige? Or are we ditching the "replaces all powers" thing and making them replace (a) specific level(s) of powers like lordkiwi said?

I think he wants to merge those feats into the pact augmentations, which makes sense.

We can always do both, so they have a minimum required power slot and you need a feat to avoid losing your over powers.

Okay, so it seems like what we need now is to compile a list of what we've come up with at this point, see what we have, see if it all works properly and move on from there.

Something else I would suggest changing is the DC for the bindings. Use the chart on page 42 of the DMG and make it a Moderate check DC to bind and a Hard check DC to get a single Pact Augmentation (further augmentations are gained through feats). The results would be...

Code:
Vestige Lvl Bind Augment
1st–3rd 15 20
4th–6th 17 21
7th–9th 19 23
10th–12th 21 25
13th–15th 22 26
16th–18th 24 28
19th–21st 26 30
22nd–24th 27 31
25th–27th 28 32
28th–30th 29 33
This is more in keeping with the amount skill bonuses will increase as you level. Also, if you have Feats for Augments, you probably don't want to give as many away on the skill check.
