anyone playing poker at GenCon this year?

So is anyone playing poker at GenCon this year? Looks like they have quite a few tournies this year and I've heard from some people who have played in the past they are fun and usually very well-attended. I've signed up for the no-limit tournies. Anyone else planning on playing?

I want to, but couldn't ever spare the time. The stand-alone tourney on Friday(?) afternoon is a possibility.

I live near Tunica so I dont see the point. You can't gamble at Gen Con can you. If you aren't playing for money poker kind of looses the point doesn't it (Or are you playing for prizes)

I was surprised with the amount of poker at Origins this year, actually.

Never really got into playing competitive gambling games.

Well... except for Unexploded Cows by CheapAss Games. Now that is a gambling game.

They aren't allowed to offer cash prizes but I heard top prize this year is they will either reimburse your GenCon trip or pay for it next year. Plus the entry fee is pretty minimal anyway. It's mostly for fun and a good way to get some tournie experience.
