Anyone seen the book of challenges...

Any reviews posted anywhere? I'm surprised a book like this is getting so little buzz. (I was also suprised by how little buzz the Stronghold Builders Guide got.)

I got a brief look at The Book of Challenges. It doesn't read like Grimtooth's Traps; it really is a book of various challenges. I'll have to take a closer look before I decide to pick it up (or not).

Mike Selinker also co-wrote Masters of the Wild, which is probably the best of the splat books. I've know both he and Gwendolyn Kestrel for years, long before they worked for WotC, and they're both extremely creative people. Mike's a puzzle genius; I'm not sure that's the kind of encounter I want to toss into my game, but it certainly fires up my imagination.

Great Book, I was extremely pleased to find it. The book overall is an interesting premise, and I'm sorry for the poster who feels it's not worth it because it's not another Grimtoothes traps. There are a lot of interesting setups, puzzles, traps, mini-adventures buily on EL, ranging from EL 1 and up. The challanges I read so far are for the most part very interesting, and pretty much adaptable and easy to change (keep premise, just change the special effect.)

I haven't finished reading it, when I do I will post a better review.

I got it, and I have read a bit of it here and there between ENnies entries. I really enjoyed what I read. I think it's a bit too pricey (but then I always do), but it's a good, solid book to have on hand. I'd like to see them do at least another volume.

OT, but Gwendolyn Kestrel has got to be one of the coolest names I have ever seen. I noticed her name on Magic of Faerun and thought it was rad.

Sorry, random interruption...

I just got my copy today but I haven't had time to look through it yet but I wanted to post anyway. :D I'm looking forward to reading it so I can use it next time I DM.
