Whoops sorry. But it can still be interisting if we stay the way they are. Jacques will have to work as translator with his poor linguistics. He does have speak skill in Spanish, English and Italian but I'm planning on playing him in a way that he speaks them very poorly, mixing in many french words .

In all seriousness, I think her command of the Spanish language would be somewhat equivalent to that of a 2 1/2 to 3 year old child.

On the other hand, her mastery of Latin is superior to her mastery of Spanish because she spent the majority of her time in Spanish captivity under the watchful eye of Catholic Missionaries who want to use her as a tool in Rome's plot to snatch the New World from the Spanish. To this end, the Priests and missionaries made it an point to limit the amount of exposure Jaguar had to the Spanish language since they hoped it would force the Conquistador's into having to rely on the Church's assistance when dealing with the Mayans.

Unfortunately, for the Church, their plan is extremely flawed since the Conquistadors already do not trust Rome's motives and is currently looking for a reason to minimize the Church's involvement in the New World. Also, Jaguar has managed to keep in contact with the Mayans and has been sending them information about the conquistadors and the Church via animal messengers.
