April 2008 - What are you playing?

Arnwyn

First Post
Well, it's the new month, and so here is the new thread.

For me, old school continues further - I'm a good way through Shining Force II (Genesis).

Wife: She's still going through Final Fantasy VIII (PS1) - turns out she's a completionist... whodathunk?

Friend & I: Officially dumped Halo 3 and playing Warhawk (PS3) instead.

I am continuing the Persona 3 grind... But I foolishly picked up a PsP this month. So now I have to worry about:

-Crisis Core
-Final Fantasy Tactics

The Sims, Master of Orion 2 (damn, I can't get enough of the game), and on April 5th I'll have my hands on Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure. :uhoh: :heh:

Still in Lost Odyssey (360). On disc 4, though I've been mostly chasing sidequests since I got there, and just started back on the main plot.

As usual, too much. Though I've had less time than usual lately.

PC:
-Civ IV
-Medival II: Total War

Wii:
-Smash Brothers Brawl

360:
-Lost Odyssey

And then my own retro gaming in the form of Final Fantasy VI. Still the best RPG I've played all these years later.

Still playing Perfect World: Malaysia(English)

Had to start over with a second account when the first was compromised and have been intermittent cause of other workload. But finally climbing out of the bottom tier and started my own guild.

Crisis Core. Just picked it up last night and I'm impressed. The active combat system is fun, but a shock to get used to since I've been playing old school Final fantasy games a lot lately.

The opening sequence is an obvious homage to the original opening of FFVII. With the better graphics it totally works.

Rugult, you have to get FFI and FFII also available for the PSP. Much like tactics it's the same game with blow-your-mind improved graphics. Some of the most fun I've had with a hand-held system ever.

Man, what am I not playing? Damn, I had more free time last year without these consoles...

360
Orange Box - Working through HL2 and 2 rooms away from the end of Portal.
Rock Band - Currently working through a one-man band (guitar/vocals) as well as working my way through Expert vocals (very frustrating...there may be something wrong with my mic sensitivity)
N+ - Very addictive, playing online with friends
Halo 3 - Same as above, and half done the campaign
Doom - Ah, the memories, not very far in yet though
Brain Challenge - Apparently my memory is good and my logic needs work...I always thought it was the other way around.
Burnout Paradise - Weeeeeeee!!!
Guitar Hero 3 - Only picked this up for the Les Paul for RB, but I'm working through the career, I badly need the practice (guitar being my worst RB instrament)

Wii
Super Mario Galaxy - slowly but surely making my way through...
Smash Bros Brawl - I only play this when friends are over, mostly because I don't have time otherwise

PC
Lying dormant, gamewise. At least there's teh interwebs....

Well it's only two days in to the month, but ...

Wii:
-Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
-Smash Brothers Brawl (which I suck very badly at but, all in good fun)
-Metroid Prime Corruption 3 (though I am stuck at a part and can't get further, I pop it in once a week to 'try again')
-Mario Kart Wii (as in, I will be playing it a lot once it comes out later this month, this much is certain :) 'cause it's a game everyone in the house would like to play together)

PC:
-Rappelz (a poor man's WOW, a guilty pleasure :-D)
