[April] What's up in your campaign?

Last episode, the team returned to the Antarctic plateau to investigate coordinates where the TARDIS sensors had indicated a quantum singularity--a black hole, to use the parlance of our times. They found not a black hole, but a massive, ancient black tower frozen in the ice. They parlayed with the sanity-threatening plant-things they found inside (Elder Things), and discovered that a massive otherdimensional entity of astounding power was trapped here and trying to get loose...and the tower was part of a rapidly failing construct designed to hold it in.

They returned to the TARDIS to lure out a piece of the entity that had escaped. On the way they were ambushed by their archnemesis Erik Sturm. A pitched battle was fought in the blowing snow, Sturm was shot, beaten, pummeled, and drubbed down to 0 hp, and the team managed to lure the horrible black ooze creature out of the TARDIS with extreme heat (white phosphorous grenades outside the hatch). It froze solid outside.

Tomorrow night is the next episode...they will interrogate their prisoner, Sturm, and most likely find out quite a bit about their missing memories. These revelations have been hanging in secrecy-space since last September!

Leaving the Sapphire Sea behind them the party travels north into the jungles near Siam. Still trying to stay clear of the Sing Wa Brotherhood they have been avoiding the major trade routes....

Jungle Troubles:

Traveling through the jungle the party discovers a village where no one is over the age of 13. Though first told by the inhabitants that the adults were drafted to fight in a war the party soon discovered something more sinister... a powerful Ogre called Cruel'Jin the Bloodletter had come to town and slaughtered anyone who opposed him. Using Dark Magics Cruel'Jin summoned daemonic hounds to guard the town and kill anyone who interfered. After a furious battle with the daemonic hounds the party resolved to hunt down the Ogre and take his head.

The Forgotten Stones

The party’s only clue to the Ogres location was rumors of an abandoned temple deep in the jungle, with few better options the party headed back into the jungle. After a days worth of travel they reached the ruins. Passing through the remains of a human monastery the party entered runs that “looked as though they were ancient when the jungle was young”. Taunted by the ogre they headed in, finding the blood mage atop a ziggurat in the center of the ruins. A violent battle ensued, as the party faced off against the Ogres dark sorcery. Triumphant, and in better shape then they thought they would be (due to a powerful blow from the Samurai), the party looked about for some sort of treasure to carry off. What they found was a prize beyond any they could have imagined, a 500 pound altar made from Orihalycon. The only problem is that the altar is atop the ziggurat… in the middle of a dense jungle.

once they solve that they just have to find someone to buy it....

Both my face-to-face games are playing calendar hopscotch. Hopefully this weekend we may get together.

With any luck we will be invading and conquering the Keep Adlerweg.

Not much.

Party has been asked to investigate what has been killing several of the farmers outside of town.

Party's about to walk into the middle of a war between Awakened Eunoch Warlock Steers and Awakened Cannbal Chicken Monks of Hastur.

Same Old, Same Old.

Tis is ACTUALLY a serious game,

I mean that.

The Creation Schema

The Party is on their way to the Talenta gorge in Talenta Plains. This gorge is several hundred feet deep and the Electric rail runs over it using trees that are several hundred feet tall themselves as supports.

They are tracking stolen notes from an important jouranl that an agent of the Aurum had. However- the rail she was on crashed over and into the gorge. The PCs are hoping to find the journal easily.

Speaking of how realistic that is-

While crossing the Galifar Strait (25 mile long bridge that is talll enough in spots to allow 3-mass ships through) the party was attacked by a dozen war forged from the Lord of Blades and the Emerald Claw have targeted the Cannith member and successfully killed her using wraiths.

One PC whom thought he having a "good time" with a beautiful human female just found out she doesn't caste a reflection in a mirror. oops.

There are other things brewing but my players sometimes scan EN World so I can't say just now but it involves the woman with no reflection.

I am SO evil at times.

In my other Storyhours-

Under a Darksun II

It was rushed but the Balic storyline ends with the kidnapping of a party member by ...her husband? Now the remaining members will need to track down a tribe of elves whom are minions for the Order. Baaaaaad news for the party.

Strikeforce: Morituri

The final artifact is being chased after. It looks bad for the heroes. Jean is becoming a CE zombie creature and is fighting erges to harm her teammates and now she is being contacted by the enemy to push this new event. The Captain was nearly eaten by Green Slime then sawed in two by a female 1/2 Orge with a spiked chain. Megamania's Ravenloft curse has begun to unfold as he has tried to aid Vander (before he died to become a party member) and just returned to find his high school girlfriend has become a LE ninja taskmaster. oops. Vander just found out how annoying a Dromite Evocater can be. First time he fought without his Falchion to my memory. Christina is healing everyone left and right. Sasha has the "golden child" of Christina and Megamania and since she always knows more than she lets on this has many possibilities.

The team is trapped between a human army of 5000 and a gibliod army of 10000 while being hunted by The Legion of Doom. They are high level classed humanoids mercenaries led by a Mind Flayer.

...and because I still have about an hour a week not filled in-

The Pathfinders
Eberron storyhour. Answers the crazy question of "What would a government team look and act like if made of the caste from National lampoon's Animal House?". I'm still ironing it out and I suspect Eric's Grandma may want to sit this one out. ;)

...having just reunited two starcrossed lost lovers Joachim Driftwood and Delphine Laxshmi St. Sous in the bowels of the barabrian-occupied Shrine of St. Tart's Bodice on the Isle of St. Tart's, our heroes now prepare to drive said barbarians --the fearsome volcano-worshipping, grass-armor wearing Polyneecheeans-- from said Shrine, before the barbarian shaman can sacrifice the sacred Bodice of St. Tart, not the mention the Shrine's Mother-Superior who's currently wearing it, upon the fires of a massive magical Tiki-torch.

Will Joachim and Delphine make it off St. tart's Island alive?

Will Joachim tell Delphine the awful secret about Delphine's father, the 2nd richest man in the world, Pavur-Pierre Arjuna St. Sous?

Will our heroes rescue the Bodice of St. Tart, the most holy foundation undergarment of the Saint of Shamelessness? What about its captive guardian, the Dishonored Voluptuary Mother-Superior Tawny Portal?

And will Mallus Lovesworn finally get some gin?

Tune in next Tuesday...

While tracking another group of adventurers eastward, the party came across several farms that had been struck by a fungal blight that changes those afflicted into living... well essentially mushroom zombies. Trust me - it was scary at the time.
The party destroyed the afflicted farmers and burned the farms (to avoid further contamination), then tracked the blight to it's source - a twisted altar to a harvest god. After fighting an abominable fungal bloom that guarded the altar, the party decided to put it to the flame. This led to a running fight with several more bloomcysts as they were lit on fire with the altar. In the end the cysts and the altar were all destroyed, though the only clue to the cause of the problem was a strange green gem with some extra planar link, found in the ashes of the altar.

With that taken care of the party continued eastward to a city built as the terminus of a rail line (we play in an Eberron-type world). There they found a member of the party they were tracking in jail and accused of theft from the rail and assaulting an officer of the law. In addition, the other members of the party they were tracking are potentially dead in an ambush - and the one in jail doesn't appear to have the information they seek.
They're now trying to figure out a) whether the guy in jail actually deserves to be in jail, b) whether they can or want to get him out, c) how to track down the other members of the group, living or dead.
