Well, I'm running three campaigns right now:
In Traveller (traveller d20, but not the setting): my players have just gotten the red-pass they needed to get to Gantros where they have to warn Colonel Ali about the impending alien invasion they have been witness to. This is a pretty major thing since up till now aliens have been a myth or legend, no intelligent alien species has ever been found. What the PCs don't know is that the military and the Caliphate already know about this, and that this foreknowledge explains why they have lately been taking a hardline stance and trying to unify the republic under a strong federalist rule.
In Blue Rose/Port Blacksand: The player characters have just defeated Erethrim the candlemaker, who was secretly a mad chaos mage/worshipper of Pyrary, and had tried to sink the city. Unfortunately in the process one of the character's pet animated cactus was altered by chaos magic, turned giant and went on a rampage through the garden district, destroying another PC's house. Yet another character is desperately trying to find out if her teacher is a lesbian (without just asking).
as for my Classic D&D campaign, you can read all about it here
