Arcane Strife - Just got a copy! Don't miss this product!

It definitely could have used some more time at the editor's desk. When I first bought it, I was quite annoyed. But the web enhancement/demo has some errata in it, and much of the rest can be fixed easily enough- by putting "compress spinal disk" on the blackguard list, for instance, or striking out inconsistent flavor text.

Still, not quite up to EN World's usual standards.

As one of the authors that wrote this, I figured I'd address something you may have all noticed...
Some spells are listed as being favored by blackguards, but the spell stat block does not list it as Blackguard.
Simple Reason...
Divine Strife, a book of nothing but clerical, blackguard, druiadic, ranger and adept spells. Some of the spells from Arcane Strife are reprinted inside, because spells that are really good were ported across by clerics from mages, or mages from clerical spells.

Thanks to your input, we're taking a harder look at Divine Strife to make sure that we did not repeat the errors you have kindly pointed out. (All of these spells are being ported across from two decades worth the 1E/2E spells, so we are having someone who has NO experience with 2E or 1E, and is strictly a 3E man, looking for rules that he has never heard of)
And no, I'm not offended by criticism of use, and the pointing out of my mistakes. How can I get better at this, and provide you with increasingly professional products if I think everything I do is perfect! :)

As for the 3.5e test: Some people will chose not to adhere to the loss of "save or die" spells, and we feel that gamers should have the options of those spells. Until we gain access to the 3.5 changes, we will not be able to print out an "alternate damage table" for the spells in question, but rest assurred, once we gain access, a free download will be available to make the spells fully compatible, leaving the choice up to individual DM's and players.

Still, thanks for informative critiques, I look forward to seeing more of them.
And if you hate it, tell me why, I won't break down sobbing and won't bite your head off.

In specific I thought the "Power Word" spells were very intersting, and a very under-utilized area of arcana when you stop to think that the main Power Word spells were in the 1st edition PHB. Nice to see someone add to the list.

As one of the editors for Arcane Strike, I did mention that some of the casters for the spells didnt match up to the flavor text, but I also knew about Divine Strike and those down the line so wasnt overly bothered that it wasnt included.

I got this book today too and loved it, this product has a load of innovation in it but I didn't really like that some spells are refered to in another product without giving the descriptions in this book, not many are like this but it always torque's me when this happens. I'd give this one a 8.0, not having the spell descriptions carried a lot of wieght.

I bought mine yesterday and was just going to start a thread on it, lol. It's great. Lots of great spells for only $5.95! The only thing I didn't like was all the flavor text clogging up space and getting in the way of finding out how the spells work. It's a pain to have to skip past the first paragraph; I'll never use the Shtar setting, nor will most people buying this I'll wager. It would've been better to put this info in a separate version included for Shtar players. I hate this in Relics & Rituals, too. Just gimme the facts, not the flavor. Also, the space saved could have been used to include schools in the complete spell lists.

Also bought A Magical Guide to Medieval Western Europe, and this is a great resource for DMs, well worth the $10.

Feats - Are there any new metamagic feats?

Not sure why I am asking, I'll just spend the six bucks and get the thing. But while I read over it does anyone want to address the feats in more detail?
