I will play and DM 3E. I have no major problems with the game and I have no plans to switch to 4E.

Most of what I have read about 4E has made me go WTF it just does not sound like it will support the game style my gtoup likes to play,

I will play whatever is being run, at least once. If that happens to be 4e at some stage, I will be willing to try it, and probably won't hate playing it enough to just flat out stop. But who knows. . .

I will not buy (let alone DM) 4e. I am currently DMing (a heavily modified form of) 3e - among other things - and that is not about to change anytime soon. If ever.

It depends on the group. Really, it's all about what the guys want to play when they come over. I'd be perfectly happy playing Magic: the addiction, if that's all anyone wanted to play.

Am I done with 3.x? I think I am. I've been the groups DM since we formed up. Aside for a couple of variants my players each wanted to attempt to run, I've been the one to do it all. I've been through with 3.x for a while now.

So much so that after our winter break I convinced them to give other games a try. Lately its been SilCORE. I enjoy it. Next month, the rest of our group splits. By the time I have a new group (if ever) 4e will be out, and I'll have a chance to see it in action.

If that's all they want to play...

Right now I am also in an online 3.x game, and our DM is converting us over as the rules are previewed. So by July I wont likely even have a 3.x game going in any form.

I would never say never, but it is very unlikely that I will play 3e again. My group and I prefer to keep up with the most current edition. If I did play 3e, it would only be between 5th and 12th level.

My own children will begin playing with 4e. I expect this will be our D&D.

I ran our group's first 3e game back in 2000.

I'll be DMing our group's first 4e game in a few months.

But no, I wouldn't run a 3.5 game on a dare. Too many games out there that are more fun and rewarding to run.

I was done with 3e as soon as 3.5e came out!

But seriously, I think I am done with 3.Xe D&D.
The reason I specify is because there is alot of OGL content out there that I do like that isn't spacifically D&D stuff that I will still play. I'm not saying I'm going to throw out all my D&D main books and forget its out there, I'll just use the Wizards gaming material as a kind-of source book for other things, Iron Heroes for instance.

Who knows, maybe Monte Cook's house rule PDF thing will let me have fun with D&D in and of itself once again, but until then... blah

I've never* DMed 3.x and don't intend to.

I've played 3.x and if I had no other choice would play it again, but given a choice I'd go for 1e or 0e or even try out 4e (for a while) first. I think I'd take 3.x over 2e if the 2e was being played RAW, however; though 2e modified to look more like 1e would be very playable.
So, I voted "depends on the situation".

* - come to think of it, I *have* DMed 3e; I took over my friend's game for about 3 sessions (the party was in a dreamworld and it was my dying character's last dream; the other players had no warning whatsoever that we'd be switching DMs) and blundered my way through...seemed to go OK. But I've never run my own 3.x game.

I voted I'd still play and DM 3E. Though that is only true if there was an ongoing campaign I'd play or DM.
I am not 100% opposed to 3E. I had a lot of fun with it.
I am not sure if I would run a homebrew campaign again, but picking up a good module or adventure path seems okay.

So far, I liked most of what I heard about 4E, so I think I will definitely not start a new 3E campaign once 4E is out. But it's still possible that my Iron Heroes campaign ends and I'll have to go back to 3E.

Goodness, no. I'm not any more done with 3e than I am done with 1e or Paranoia or Mutants and Mastermind. I expect I'll switch to 4e at some point, but that doesn't preclude me from playing or running 3e again. Fun games are fun games.

That's pretty close to my feelings. Different games have different strengths and weaknesses. 3e is just another game.

i'll never referee d02.

but given the right group and no one interested in playing OD&D(1974) i'd play it again.

i still am in a campaign right now, but it is on hiatus.
