Are you going to do the Steampunk thing?

KA, that sounds AWESOME!

When is this campaign getting a website so we can steal your ideas -- I mean, gasp in awe at your prodigious imagination?

Second time I've used prodigious today. I'm on a roll...

Actually, I have begun developing notes for a steamish game that I am beginning after the first of the year. I am running some Arcana Unearthed before that though... I love Steampunk and pulp stuff. Haven't checked out the IK yet, they look intriguing and I am looking forward to Eberron. More than likely I will just continue with a homebrew setting, but I love to read other settings for ideas...

I will be incorporating bits and pieces of it into standard games unless Iron Kingdoms really blows me away and to be honest, the miniatures already have as I own most of the line up.

Haven't really thought about it... IMC, there's definately technology, but it's very magical -- not very mechanical.

I'll take a look at IK and that other one some time.

Eberron, Sorcery and Steam (Fantasy Flight), Iron Kingdoms (Privateer)... so are you going to go down the steampunk thing?

As someone who wishes his project (Steam-trains & Sorcery) had managed to become well enough known to be mentioned in that sentence, that's an emphatic yes for me. I've already run one steam-based campaign using my rules, will be starting another in a month or so, and have also started work on a campaign world with steam as an integral element.

BTW, if anyone on the boards is going to Conquest (labor day weekend in Palo Alto), I will be running demo adventures on friday at 4 and sunday at 10.

Hello Torque!

Your website says: "Aiming for release in summer or fall 2002"

How about posting a detailed table of contents here for everyone to see?

PS - -How is playtesting going ( Did I read something on Randomlings MB about playtesting this, or was that another similar project ? ) ?

Not planning on it. Never really liked the steampunk thing. If I want some technology in my fantasy, give me Dragonstar. I really like that setting. I want to run a campaign there someday. Also need to integrate Oathbound into my game. Oh, yeah, there's the once a month CoCd20 campaign that's been on hiatus for the summer that I want to restart soon. AAAARRRGGHHHH!! Too many settings (Dragonlance coming out, FR calling to me). Too little time!

Nah, I'll pass on steampunk.
