I guess I'm the only one to answer yes?

I am definitely planning to run a campaign in Eberron right as soon as it is available. I already have it all planned out. We're going to use the core, ExPsiHB (except high ECL races), Eberron products (possibly excepting some PrCs), and a small handfull of Dragon articles (the ones with new Psionic stuff for the ExPsiHB). And that's it!

I plan to run whatever adventures come in the Eberron core, as well as any adventures WotC puts out (and any that are in Dungeon) and that will be my campaign.

I am not planning to put much effort into GM preparation. Normally I hyper-prepare and develop the heck out of a world, and it takes me forever and I hardly ever game enough to enjoy the benefits.

I have never (well, seldom) run a game solely in one published campaign world. I never liked Forgotten Realms and totally stayed away from that boat. So far, Eberron looks like it will be different than FR in the significant ways that annoyed me about FR (too many putz powerful arrogant NPCs). So I am looking forward to running this game and "exploring the setting" through the game.

Also, by using just published adventures, I am going to consciously avoid preparation and "work" on the game. I'm just going to run the game and see what comes. It will be my "lite" game, where I can enjoy running/playing it and not worry between games about putting in all the little details. (I'll still be running my Cauldron campaign concurrently, which is where I put all my insane development effort.) So this will be a fun and good break for me.

Of course, I'd love to play in the setting, too, but I doubt I know anyone who's interested in running it. *sigh* oh well.

I just moved, so I haven't found a gaming group yet. However, I plan to pick up Eberron the moment it comes out, and I'd like to be in a game as DM or player.

How is it misleading? I'm in the same situation and I answered the question asked: no, I will not be running an Ebberon campaign.

Misleading because it conflates several viewpoints with mutually exclusive implications. For example, all of the following viewpoints would answer "no":

1) "I will not buy that abomination, and will not even play in such an icky setting!"
2) "I'm a player, but I'll buy it and see if I can get my DM to run it."
3) "I'm a player, and my DM has already ordered me to buy it in preparation."
4) "I'm a DM, and I'm buying the book to rip off its good ideas, but I like my homebrew setting just fine, thank you very much."

Note how a vote of "no" can mean "enthusiastically buying!" or "not touching with a 10 ft. wooden pole!". That's misleading.

I'm planning to run it.

We've been on a real setting migration kick. The group, I think, feels its end coming and has been busily trying to experience as many settings as well as we can before we all go our seperate ways.

So moving over to Eberron shouldn't be any sort of nasty new transition.

I'm interested to look at it, and I am really happy to be playing in a WotC setting.

As much as you might criticize them for their concepts or even their rules they do a great job keeping things organized and together, with of course the lamentable exception of Greyhawk.

But their FR work has been a gold standard for supporting a setting through supplements and adventures that none of the other companies out there have lived up to despite their otherwise superior work.

Eberron here I come!

No it isn't, because a vote of "No" actually answers the question asked, not the question you wanted him to ask.

No. I already have enough campaigns going around. Besides, Eberron doesn't interest me one bit. It's not original enough for my tired tastes.

Dinosaur-riding halflings? Magical trains? Hard-boiled dwarven detectives? Ugh.

I'm a committed home-brewer in any case. I might take a look when it comes out, but so far it is not too exciting IMO. (It definitely does not look as original as Midnight or Dawnforge.)

[Edit: corrected typo.]

Someone seems a bit misinformed on Eberron...

Anyway, I am looking for something new to run as my FR game is starting to go into the third year and I am bored with it... so I am going to check out Eberron because Dragonlance disappointed me... but I read more and more about Dawnforge and it looks pretty nifty as well, also different enough...

Eberron for me right now...
