Not really. I still have a ton of ideas for 3E and I just got into Pathfinder. I do use other systems like Hero for my Xena style campaign. I am not saying I wouldn't play in 5E game if I was invited by a DM I liked but I can't at this time seeing myself wanting to invest in the books and run one as a DM. If the books come out for a reasonable price on PDF I will be picking them up but that is the only way I see myself doing so at this time.

Not really, no. I've only just started to really get 4E to sing the way I want, with ideas for some houserules and copious campaign ideas to last a few years. Between that, Fate, HârnMaster and 13th Age I think I'm set for a good while. Unless, of course, something comes along that really blows my socks off!

For me, 4E still has lots of life left in it. I've got another eight or so campaigns I want to run and will endeavour to do so in the years I have left.

That said, I look longingly and lovingly at 13th Age and expect I will be running that before the year is out once I have the new 13th Age Bestiary and 13 True Ways, but 4E will still be my preferred ruleset.
This is pretty much precisely where I am.

13A is basically what I wanted out of Next - something of a compromise between 3e and 4e, with a lot of novel and innovative stuff like the Escalation Die, its abstract ToTM combat, and neat setting features like Icons. It's nothing like the "Pathfinder for 4e" that was buzzing around when it was released, but it does a great job at synergizing good parts of different systems. It's not perfect by any means, but it is very confident and very appealing.

nope. 2E is the only edition I've felt I've done to death and even it I've been away from long enough to investigate. i don't need another 'edition', I'd much rather have support for the editions I do have.

Yes I am in for a new edition almost from the time they announced it, BUT if 5e does not cater my needs and my gaming style I can happily still play 3.5.

Most certainly...and I really hope this edition DOES bring people back together. If it doesn't, then it may be it for the brand (at least with a big company), but I am feeling optimistic.

I have **13th Age**, but am unlikely to get to play it before 5E. (We currently play a heavily modified version of Savage Worlds, where we have mixed in a lot of ideas from A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying and even the DnDN Playtest ;)). I have had a lot of fun 'rekitting' this system, but am still looking forward to a new set of DnD books.

I always love grabbing those first 3 books...(and I still want the 3 books, whatever the price ;)).

If the edition works out well, I can still use and convert and rekit the MANY books I have from other editions and I have always loved converting from one game or edition to the next.

So again. Hell yes :)

After 3 months of listening to 4e podcasts before bringing my group back to life after 25 years, we jumped on Next play test last packet for our baseline. We have enjoyed it and now look forward to the final release.

At 40+ in age, $ is not an issue like it was. So bring on good content as we will gladly pay the $150.

Definitely not ready! I just started playing D&D Next a couple years ago! Although, I am about ready for a rules update!
