I've been ready for a new edition since 4th edition was released.
So has the "market" in general. That's why D&D fell from 1st to 4th in popularity...

The best support for my group is Paizo's adventure paths.
My game will follow whichever edition gives the most support.
There is always the possibility that Paizo would support D&D 5E with adventure paths or even dual-stat them or release two PDF versions, etc. Despite the Internet rage between customers of both Paizo and Wizards: the two companies have always got along very well. And Stevens and Mona are no fools. Why not expand their customer base and sell many more adventure modules in exchange for some extra editing time? The future could be full of many good things. I am hopeful anyway.

I feel like this is possible, but it depends to a huge degree on OGL or licensing stuff -- stuff that WotC has been dead silent on. Probably, it's been smart of them to stay quiet until they have something to say, but we're approaching the release date of 5e pretty quickly here, and with nothing mentioned, I'm skeptical of them having anything at launch.
Considering the OGL was terrible for WotC in the long run, I doubt we're going to see it again.
