What a day of football. Bengals look good, Steelers look dominate, KC has a defense, SF actually won and looked good doing it, Miami won, Vikings lose, Detriot leads the NFC North, Bengals lead the ADC North, Jets got destroyed......

And this Colt Raven game is a defensive master piece.....

Cats and dogs living together!

What's going on with the NFC Norse?! My Bears, I can understand. Rookie QB gives me a lot of excuses. But Culpepper looked like he was playing for Tampa, giving the ball at every opportunity, and Detroit, while I did expect them to beat GB at home, just whupped 'em.

And Indy just scored. Good game.

NFC is going to have a down year. Bears cannot get anythign together, Green Bay has slowly been getting worse, Vikings cannot lose the best player in the league and not have their game go down, and then Detroit finally gets their big three recievers all healthy and just needs to get them some experince.

The real question is will Pittsburgh actually be good this year or is Tennesse just horrible?

A little of both I imagine. But we find out in two weeks. Steelers should be able to handle the Texans next year, but after that it's the Patriots. We owe them pain. :]

Err... losing Moss is going to kill the Vikes, because their offense has been based off of "throw deep to Moss and pray" for years, but Randy Moss is not even clearly the best receiver in the league; TO and Marvin Harrison are quite comprable statistically. The best player in the league is Peyton Manning, who's easily the best QB by the numbers, and QB is easily the most important position.

Its football, there are like 10 best players in the league......

As a long time Vikings fan, I know this is going to be a looooooong year. They have changed their offense from what Drothgery accurately stated, to more of a "Run and Gun" scheme. But if Culpepper can't complete a pass, and Michael Bennett can't stay healthy, they're in trouble. Moss leaving may hurt the big play in Minnesota, but I'm betting the locker room is a much happier place.

Most NFL so called experts are calling for the Vikings to win their, albeit weak, division this year. I just don't see it happening.

You all have failed to mention one of the biggies this week, which was my beloved New Orleans Saints upset of the Carolina Panthers, who many have prognosticated will make a run at the big game this year.

It was close at the end, but the Saints were able to pull it off, which gives me some hope for the season. I think the Panthers will likely rebound, but it's not how anyone thought they'd start.

How 'bout dem Patriots? I understand why people don't think they can the third one, with the player and coaching losses, but they looked pretty damn good Thursday night.

This shall indeed be an interesting year. My Falcons get started tonight. If they can beat the Eagles, I'll be very optimistic.
