So this is supposed to have stats for a dozen or so Demon lords from what I've read. I wonder how they will stack up to the offical stats of big boys like Orcus & Demogorgon. Anyone here have any advance info on this one?

I would like to think Chris Pramas had inside information on Deities & Demigods from which to derive his comparisons.

I doubt he will be giving us many examples to equal Demogorgon and Orcus - especially since the majority of the unique types in Legions of Hell were comparable to Pit Fiends.

I am looking forward to Armies of the Abyss, Legions of Hell was fantastic.

I'm with you on this one Mate. Armies SHOULD rock. I love Legions but that LE thing...tends to make it difficult as to WHY a devil/infernal might want to be on the Prime. Now Demons! We all know why cause they love raising Hell..erh I mean the Abyss!

Last I heard Josh, (and this was a while ago) it was at the printers, so maybe some time soon. The Website is saying April, so I'll trust that. Probably be like the last week of March, early April, but I'd trust Chris to tell us more SINCE it's his baby, even if Erik Mona did work on it. (Props to Erik though! )

I too am looking forward to this one. I should fit nicely on my shelf next to Legions of Hell which should be arriving in the mail with my Dungeon subscription at just about the same time Armies of the Abyss comes out.

And with Deities and Demigods just around the corner, all I can say players everywhere is that you had better watch out, your DM's are about to release a world of hurt.

Well with what I have now, the additions of Armies, Deities and Demi-gods PLUS the chance to see the Epic Level Handbook before June...well, I think I'm about ready to unleash a MULTIVERSE of pain!

Well the LE politics and machinations of the Devils is much more my speed, but i will get the Armies of the Abyss without question. Thats what happens when you build a history of quality products with your consumers. I'm buying it because 1) It never hurts to have more creatures and 2) i trust Green Ronin to produce good stuff!!
Now if i can convince Chris and his cronies to do the Choirs of the Heavens sourcebook.........

Hi all!

You may want to check the ENWorld News today (like you don't everyday ).

It has a preview/advert for Armies of the Abyss.

Looks like they are doubling the number of Unique beings in the book (no complaints from me on that point).

22 new Demon Princes and over 24 new Demons.

Still doesn't actually say when its released though!?

Green Ronin's website simply lists the date as 'April', as Nightfall mentioned. I know it's been posted as such since at least early February, perhaps even January.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it will be out in early April rather than late April. If it doesn't make it to shelves by next month for one reason or another, at least Deities & Demigods should be out.
