Arms & Armor Open Call

Would that I had the time! 15 new qualities and items. But at least I got it in before the deadline. Spike, how are you?* Sorry to hear that you sold your PC to a game company. Good thing you don't have to pay royalties eh?

*Who is this guy? It's Bill Collins from Nice Reality Ya Got Here, back in the days of All of the Above, the GURPS apa.

Hey, Bill, long time no hear!

I almost didn't make the deadline myself; had to cut back on nonessentials like sleep in the stretch.

As for selling my PC, he ended up in a good home, adjacent to one of my wife's PCs, in Atlas Games' Uncommon Character.

There will be a public announcement of what winners were selected. Right now, we've made our initial picks and are putting those through a second round of examination to weed out any potential duplication or unworkable entries.

Arms & Armor Open Call

After pouring through over 200 pages of material for the recent open call for Arms & Armor v3.5, we would like to congratulate the following people for being selected for inclusion in the book: Aaron Clancy, Allan Lee, Alexander Freed, Arthur Borko, Bob Cooper, Bret Boyd, Cameron Ironsides, Charles W. Plemons III, Chris Scaturo, Christopher M. Smith, David M. Finch, Duane Nutley, F.Wesley Schneider, Faisal Abdullah, G. William Harper, Joel Flank, Jonathan M. Richards, Justin D. Jacobson, Luke Johnson, Nathan E. Irving, Neal Levin, Spike Y. Jones, Steven Russell, Teramis, Viktor Viktorov, Yamir Ortiz Morales, and Yury Pavlotsky.

Those selected will be contacted by Jim Butler via email with a contract in the coming weeks.

We wish to thank everyone who took the time and effort to submit an entry. While many submissions were excellent, not all of them fit what was needed for the book.

And one of the benefits of D20: If your submission is rejected for this book, odds are good you'll be able to find another paying venue for it down the road.

Congrats to everyone. Really looking forward to the product. Interesting to see some of my fellow authors from Creature Collection III, and a few other names I recognise. This open call thing must be really paying off for d20 publishers.
