Arrr! Making Warhammer Ships for D&D

I saw that ship in the store the other day, and almost bought it. I have no plans for a nautical adventure anytime soon, but it would be cool to have in the game room. But I gave into reason, and decided that I didn't really need it.
big, big mistake. :D

I also don't have any naval games in the offing (we started a new game recently, and mine wasn't picked), but it's sitting on the shelf at the end of the game table, looking awesome.

Heh. Was eyeballing it too. Lucky for me, my soon to be 5 year old son loves the Dragons stuff and the Imaginext Fantasy stuff as well. I'll, oops, I mean *he* will be getting some new Dragons for his b-day at the end of the month.

He's even kind enough to let me mooch them for my D&D game. Of course, he makes me let him play with my minis and dice. I've taught him too well.

Come on, now you guys had to go and make me want it again... ;)
Now I have to go see it they still have any at K-Mart or KB Toys. I don't remember which store it was in. Maybe it'll go on sale soon.

What is the quality of the toys in this line? I've looked at several of the sets over the past year, and keep putting them back down. The ship is the first one that I seriously considered buying. What is the name of the toy line, I'll have to shop around online for it.

Well, the Imaginext stuff is pretty good. The Dragn line (I think the pic Storminator put up is the Crystal Dragon series) is pretty good too. The only issue my son has is that one of his dragon's upper jaw/top head pops off its jaw hinges pretty regularly. Of course, he tells me that's how he knows the dragon has lost the fight. Funny note: The dragon I am talking about is named "Torchwing". When he first got it, my wife and were teasing him, and saying that "Porch Swing" was a pretty silly name for a dragon. The dragon is now referred to as "Porchswing, the Burninatoooorrrrrr!!!!!"

Say Christian, that wouldn't be a Bretonnian Buccaneer, now would it? Stick a catapult to the forecastle and it will be a spitting image.

Man, do I miss Man'o'War.
