Edit: WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL, SORRY.
A player is needed for an ongoing Ars Magica Play-by-Post saga. You can browse the IC thread to check out the game, and the first posts in the OOC thread to see the covenant and other characters (see links in my sig), but the short of it is:
Someone that was supposed to play can't, so we have an opening in the game for another player. You can step into the shoes of the original player's magus, or invent your own magus and/or companion.
We play young magi setting up a new spring covenant in the north-east of the Rhine Tribunal (in Pomerania, currently under danish rule). The game's theme is that of declining magic and magic auras. The players face the results of this, attempt to thwart or reverse it, and the game explores various approaches towards handeling the encroachment of mundanes and the Dominion.
We use Ars Magica 5th Edition rules, but are willing to aid those unfamiliar with the system. Playing a magus without access to the 5e rules will, in the long run, be difficult - but you are certainly invited to experiment and find out if you want to invest in 5e. Fourth edition is available for free as a pdf, and the editions are close enough that familiarity with it should suffice for much.
I welcome any questions, inquiries, or interest.
