[art, hosted] DnD Iconics: Krusk!

Buttercup -> Thanks! He'd better look forbidding! In my campaign, I rule-zeroed some extra things for half-orcs, including a +2 racial bonus to Intimidate checks (which overcomes the overall -1 that a decreased Charisma causes).

Med Stud -> Thanks!

Guillaume -> These babies and the Counters are totally different beasts, since I couldn't think of adding this level of detail to a 1x1 inch illustration (not in due time, of course). I am glad you're liking these newer ones. It shows that I'm getting the hang of it.

Liquide -> Thanks for the praise, it makes me very fuzzy and warm inside! I just posted to your kobold gallery! :D

It's your best one (so far :-)). I just love your mix between human and orc, and I'm so stealing it for my campaign. This guy could be mistanken for a human in a dark alley, but he's definitely a half-orc up close.

I especially love the subtleties in the face, more specifically the eye(brows) and the nose.

Thanks mate and you are worth every praise you can get since you are the king :) , oh and just replied to your reply in my thread aswell.

Would love if you could go over some of my other art aswell when you get the time (but do not feel rushed would just be very helpful to me)

A Dragon's anatomy: http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26467 (these are mainly a discussion and some sketchwork but would be nice if you popped in and shared your thoughts in the thread)

My female art thread where I learn how to draw femmes and post the pics I do as I do them: http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21367

Big Freaking Goblinoid: The one whose arm you should twist is Fiery James, either here or over at the Fiery Dragon messageboards. Just out of curiosity, which ones you're missing (I might have already done them in one of the Counter Packs or Adventures).

Thanks Claudio! I have all the counters you have done so far ( including the adventure inserts ), so I'll just have to wait and see what is in the "Counter Pack 3: Dwellers in Dungeons & Darkness" before creating my specific wish list.

There are several "obscure" creatures I want, but broadly:

I loved the Green Ronin fiends from CP!1!! What I would like MOST of all is a counter pack from The Scarred Lands Monster Books, CC1/CC2: Gorgons, Ratemen (Slitheren), Spider-eye Goblins, Proud, Sutak, etc...

I'm sure I'm gonna need some MM2 and Tome of Horrors stuff too. Obviously these "cross-company" deals are more complicated, but probably great for all involved. I'm sure counter pack 1 generated some interest in LoH & AotA!

Perhaps I'll wander over to the Fiery boards as you suggest...

Well done! My favorite part of him, is the lower-tusks. This is how I always describe half-orcs. It's fantastic seeing a near perfect visualization of my view of half-orcs.

The iconics look great, you've really done a wonderful job with them!

If you took random requests from strangers I'd beg you to do my character portrait; i.e. I like your style very much. :D

Krusk's teeth were heavily influenced by Lurtz's first appearance in LotR: FotR. WETA came up with a really logical way for a humanoid to have jutting tusks and still be able to close his mouth. So I just took their design and went from there.

hey, i like it! he looks more like the traditional depiction of half-orcs than the 3E depiction... and that's just fine by me! i've always felt that half-orcs should look significantly less orcish than orcs, but with 3E we have them looking significantly less human than humans. ;)
