Artist Keith Parkinson passes away

This is a jolt. Parkinson was, and is, one of the truly definitive artists of D&D. Very sad news, indeed. The D&D world is diminished.

I was stunned to read this. It came out of nowhere for me, and I'm just floored. I got to meet him one year, with my girlfirend,and we chatted for a while, and he was just this really knowledgable, friendly person. Polite and attentive, and his personalied messages to a book he had to sign three names to meant a lot to me.

I'll have to pullout his books, and gaze at them tonight, sip some wine and feel the loss of the gaming community.

Farewell, Mr.Parkinson. YOu will be missed.

Wow. What a shame. My condolences to his family, but you should be proud and happy to see how many lives he touched and what a lasting impression he left.
You'll be missed, but with all the great work around, not forgotten.

I am stunned to hear this. I had no idea his cancer had come back so suddenly. My favourite artist of the heyday of D&D, I will miss him and his work a great deal.
