This is so sad. It's like a small piece of my past youth has been lost. The fab four were the inspiration of so much imagination for me. I'll miss ya Keith. Maybe this will restart a revival ofthe fab four style in coming Dungeon and Dragon magazine covers.

My thoughts to his family and friends....
 

His Bloodstone art alone kept me thinking and thinking about the Realms; I still have a dog-eared copy of his sword-wielding demon artwork from an old Realms Calendar stowed away in a trunk, that I brought 2000 miles from back home just so I could have it to use as a picture reference during play.

R.I.P., Keith.
 


Wow, first Sutherland, now this. It has not been a good year for D&D art. RIP sir.

(My personal favorite was the blonde paladin looking right at you, while her horse is in the background (I think she has a tiny dragon around). It was the cover of the Dragon issue with alternate paladins for 1st ed. AD&D, I believe).
