*It seems from the psicrystal's analysis that it might take the group maybe 5 minutes to go there at normal speed, 10 minutes if they are moving very slowly to sneak, or 2.5 minutes if they move at full speed and scurry and hustle across the cavern depths.*

ooc: Ah, I thought it had reported back more quickly than that. In that case, just the 70 minute expansion for now. We'll head out at a moderate pace, and I'll manifest the other two when we think we're about a minute away.

Eternity chooses not to manifest anything yet, but has a number of tricks in store once they get a bit closer (2 minutes out).

Hulgyr doesn't even think of manifesting anything and tightly grips his sword instead while he advances determined.

(OOC: Well, I dunno. Even the minor Afflicted aren't wearing armour like Ironwolf's. And those sneaky ones from before were pretty stealthy. But okay)

*The group continues to about two minutes out, and Zaeryl and Eternity manifest a few powers to augment themselves (OOC: I don't know what Eternity was manifesting, so do let me know E13). Then they continue onward, with a plan to have Ironwolf manifest a few powers of his own about a minute later. However, this doesn't come to pass, as they suddenly hear a pack of about four larger Afflicted begin to charge towards them from the darkness just ahead.*

"We haven't used much power yet today, and healing is low--let's see if this can be overcome with a small display of force."

*Zaeryl targets the centre of the Afflicted's advancing formation, dealing a moderate amount of damage to each,and temporarily stunning three of the four.*

"Finish the last one quickly--it isn't stunned, so it might counterattack."

ooc: at 2 mins out, Eternity uses Force Screen and her Vigor stone (1pp and 5 temp hit points).

Eternity nods to Zaeryl and launches a flaming Energy Ray at the single big guy. She'll focus a moderate amount of energy towards it (5d6 for 5pp).
