Ashin's Commission: The Great Escape!

ooc: its not really hps I'm worried about. She only has a few pps left and has already proven completely useless without them. Something I hope to rectify with treasure after this :)
(OOC: Actually, even with treasure, Psions are pretty much completely useless without PPs ;))

*Ironwolf misses his target completely with a very unfortunate attack, but he stays focused. Meanwhile, Aglaia talks to Zaeryl.

"Tsk tsk, little psion. If you keep firing those tiny little powers at me, all your friends will be dead before I start caring. Why don't you just fire it all at once and finish me off?" she asks sweetly, and her words carry power behind them, as Zaeryl's eyes glaze over.

*Meanwhile, she prepares for something, as she seemingly was able to do what she just did without much effort.*

*Zaeryl condenses all of his remaining power into the most powerful Crystal Shard Living ENWorld has seen in recent memory, and as it goes arcing towards her, she surrounds herself with entropic energy that subtly twists away ranged attacks. However, the entropic energy is not enough, and her strategy nearly backfires, as Zaeryl's attack is nearly a critical blow, though she manages to avoid that fate, just barely.*

(OOC: Awww, almost a crit. Do you realise how screwed you guys would be if she had Lesser Globe of Invulnerability--for some reason I had that as a level 4 Domain spell for Protection, but it isn't, and I was about to have her cast it when I checked. Man, it stops Astral Construct and Crystal Shard like there's no tomorrow, even when you pump them up it would have hedged out the construct too!

28 Damage, so 50 total to her and Zaeryl is now out of PP and has nothing that can hurt anything in this fight without a crit, except his remaining constructs. Go constructs go!

Eternity, healing time?)

Eternity kneels beside Hulgyr and places her hand to his wounds and forces as much of her own energy into the half-orc as she can manage. She almost faints as she absorbs such a huge amount of his pain.

ooc: 8pp = 7 spent = 10d10 healing 1/2 damage to Eternity +8hp from psychometabolism and cause I wanted to roll it myself = healing Hulgyr (10d10=70)

hp remaining: 4/65, pp: 4/58

*Eternity's nigh-suicidal healing takes Hulgyr from near-death to a picture of health.*

*Also, Zaeryl's constructs continue the assault. The one near Hulgyr manages to barely knock out the Chevalier that Hulgyr had injured. The one in the air hits Aglaia once, a fairly solid bloe. The other on the ground causes minor damage to the female Chevalier, who shifts again so that she can get into the real fight some time soon, as she strikes at the construct.*

(OOC: Aglaia takes 8, so 58 now, E1 is KOed, E2 has taken 30 -4y, E3 still 0)

*Meanwhile, the Chevalier who downed Michael makes two rapid attack on Ironwolf, but between the amorpha and the other defensive powers, the psychic warrior proves untouchable. Still, the temporarily-clawed man shifts towards Eternity, in range to lash at her next time if she doesn't get out of there fast.*

(OOC: Ironwolf and newly-revived Hulgyr now)

"Zaeryl! Have the construct grapple her and bring her to the ground!"

Can Ironwolf (possibly with a five foot step) threaten both the enemies about him with his 10' reach? He's hoping to cleave.

Also, is the Prone Hulgyr threatened by either of them? If so, that will be Ironwolf's primary target, so that his friend can stand without drawing an attack of opportunity.

(I'll hold off rolling for a few moments in case you're about and can respond first.)

"She will win that grapple. She is still large, and beings from other planes are notoriously good at hitting things and grappling compared to a construct."

(OOC: Zaeryl's Constructs have Cleric BAB, and Outsiders have full ;))
