This might just be me personally, but if someone comes to me asking questions about something on chat I rather appreciate them having enough time to hang around and get the answer. It seems rather pointless to start explaining something and have the person asking leave, and discourages people from trying to help next time.If you want to know something that's more than a 3 word answer, but don't have the time to get into a discussion about it, please consider using email or the message boards. That way whoever's helping you can give you a much as they think is needed all at once and you can read it at your leisure.
Remember: People do not have to give you their email address if they don't want to but if you need to ask a WizO something we all have email addresses that are open for contact: _________@wizo.wizards.com. Eg, pounamu@wizo.wizards.com.
