my bad, but no big deal. :D what i mean was, to post a link to the dungeon magazine thread inside that thread. the reason i'm requesting someone else to do it for me, is because if i did it the link would look like so: http://65.127.163.19/showthread.php?t=78935
now that's pretty sloppy of course. what i need is a link to post along with the shimmering wrath. now, i can't test it until i get home, but does this link take you to page one of the dungeon magazine conversion thread? http://www.enworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=78935

Worse. My browser at work won’t let me see anything on the enworld.forums server: http://65.127.163.19/showthread.php?t=77766

If you can't access the name, but can access the number, then, try the THREAD and POST tags rather than the URL tag.

Beside, it takes less space in the input box.

Like this:
[thread]77766[/thread] (resulting in https://www.enworld.org/index.php?threads/77766/)
Or this:
[thread=77766]catchy clickisy invitation[/thread] (resulting in catchy clickisy invitation)

This is really useful information. Here's something else I keep meaning to ask. Is there a way on these boards to post a link without showing the whole url?

For instance, say I want to just display the word "blah", while the url it takes you to is http://blahblahblah.blah. Is this possible, and if so, how is it done?
