At what level did your PCs first get Epic weapons?

Depends on the game, and the story.

Artifacts and Epic level weaponry can make a first appearance in my games from around 8th level to 25th.

Somewhere in the level 15-20 range in the last game I ran that I went into epic with.

For us it was around level 24.

Usually between 15-20, though it depends on the game. I have a group of PCs of 5th level that just got their hands on part of an artifact...what level they'll be when they piece it all together I don't know yet. Not that they plan on using it.
