Attack of the Ambiguous Wording: Freedom of Movement and armor.

Does Freedom of Movement allow someone under it's effects to move at full speed if they are wearing med/hvy armor?

The "even" in the sentance "..., even under the influence of magic that normally imedes movement..." is giving me a headache.

Thanks much for your time.

I believe that the use of "even" in this sentance mean that one is able to move and attack normally for the duration of the spell in the listed circumstances rather than in all circumstances including the listed ones.

The spell description says that it works on all magic, and then it lists a specific group of non-magical things (like grappling) that it works against. Armor is not one of them. I don't think there is a case to be made for it reducing armor penalties.

It would be a decent house rule, if you want your tanks moving faster in your game, but I'd say you're definitely using a house rule if you do that. Which will usually only matter if you go to cons and play there. :)
