anyone out there use the attacking worn or held items rule on page 135 of players it seem like a great idea for Int monsters
and easy to do for those uber high ac munkins

how did you use it? attaked the cloak, back pack some smart creatures could wreck havoc on someones hard earned magic items
think of the monk/forsaker with all the sunder and damage item feats
it seems a loot easer for things to hit the items like cloaks, back packs, helms anything other than sword and shield and slowly bring them back to the stone age, its dirty but fun
think of the mage or great fighter that cant seem to hit or make them fail there save (surrond them with pee-ons who only work on the items and splat! no more heroes with there 42AC or 20+ saves)
yeah dying sucks but you can be brought back ,but when you lose all that stuff that you have worked on for two years of game time you realy want to die

I have used the sundering and striking an object rules against weapons, bows, potions and wands. I have not used it against cloaks, backpacks or pouches yet. Keep in mind that this tactic usually provokes an AoO, so that may stop most intelligent creatures from attempting it unless they have a very good reason. Breaking the wizard's wand of lightning bolts might be a good reason and less risky than sundering the barbarians greataxe.
