I don't have my books so bear with me.
I seem to recall that a mounted character can only make a partial attack during an airborne mount's flyby attack (specifically, IRT to dragons). While this seems to make sense in terms of melee attacks (i.e. one swing of a weapon as the dragon flies by), why can't ranged attacks be made with the normal full attack option? Wouldn't it make sense that someone with a bow could continue firing (so long as within range) at targets regardless of where the archer's flying mount is, relative to the ground?
