I'm asking this in two places because I really want and need an opinion.
Her we go: I'm writing up rules and game world information for a fantasty Indian setting. The bulk of the setting has a technology level of around the early 1900s, yet the history is near our world's India in 1823. The question is, do I adapt d20 Modern rules for it, or do I use good old D&D style rules? Either way, I'll be making a bunch of new classes (or advanced classes), due to the way magic works and the society runs.
I've been agonizing over it for a week and I haven't gotten anywhere!
