I'm playing a whole lot of the free Return to Castle Wolfenstein mod, "Enemy Territory".
ET is an objective-based, team FPS where you gain experience points in one of 7 categories based on how well and how often use them. There are 5 classes, each having 2 identical skills and 1 class-specific skill. For instance, a medic can revive fallen comrades and gets XP for that (up to 4 ranks). The more ranks he gets, the better he is at being a medic, gaining a variety of useful abilities. Maps are 30 minutes, offense vs. defense most of the time, and an absolute BLAST to play. Highly recommended!
Here's the site where you can get it for free.
I'm also playing the Tron 2.0 demo. It's also an FPS but is stylistically superior to any other in its genre I've seen a few years. I wasn't particularly impressed with the enemy AI or linear level design, but you can't beat pummeling guard programs with a disc or the adrenaline rush of LIGHT CYCLES!
For the consoles, I'm in a race with my roommate to see who can beat Metroid

rime first. Love that game. Just finished the beating the first Super-pirate in the phazon mines. Yech!
I've been thinking about picking up Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for some time now. I think I'll save my pennies for the safer bets later this fall, though. HALF-LIFE 2, HERE I COME!
