Aussie gamers - where do you buy your stuff from?

Well, after finding GR's Book of the Righteous and its $90 price tag locally I'm wondering does anyone use any US stores? is there any that offer discounts and ship to Australia?

ENworld's store - and thus most other online suppliers - has it for $35.96 US. On top of that, you'll pay at least $12 US shipping (the only shipping price guide the site had is "12 to 30 dollars"), for a total of $48 US, basically. Plus, you'd have to send proof of your credit card details before they'd ship the order.

In other words, $90 AU isn't a bad price. You might be able to scrounge around and find it a little cheaper, but with the state of the AU dollar these days I think you'll be lucky.

If you are willing to wait, Mil Sims often offers vouchers for 10-15% off with their catalogues. So if you don't mind mail-ordering from them, and you wait for a discount on non-WotC D&D to come 'round (there was one last catalogue, for instance), you could get a fair discount off the $90 price. Though you'd then need to pay shipping, of course.

Yeah. The $90 price I quoted was from the Milsims catalog. Hmm...I wonder what vouchers came with the last catalog. I'll have to see if I still have mine round here somewhere.
