I keep on hearing about a store in Melbourne called Minotaur; can someone tell me what they are like?
Minotaur hasn't been selling games for at least 6 or 7 years. Even then they didn't have much in the way of a range - I suspect that their catalog reflected the tastes of one of their staff members, not what anybody was interested in actually buying ;)

That being said, Minotaur is mostly OK. Slow Glass Books in Swanston street is possibly better these days if you're just after science fiction or fantasy books, but if you're looking for comics, videos/DVDs, posters or anything at all to do with a cult movie or TV series, then Minotaur is still your place.

You said when you came back to Sydney, we'd get together and have a barbie.

Well, you're back.

You supply the smack and the snags and I'll bring a tossed salad and half-a-dozen disposable syringes. Whaddaya say?

Uh-oh. Sounds like an open invite if ever I've heard one Snoweel! :D

Seriously though folks....does anyone in Australia have "Oathbound: Domains of the Forge"???

MilSims carries Living Imagination products, not sure about any of the others mentioned... so Sulimo let me know when SOS appears there!

Brisbane gamers

Derulbaskel,
You are looking in the wrong places then. And I would assume you are looking at Daily Planet and Napoleons.
As someone else said, Ace is the best at the moment pricewise for WOTC, Mongoose and some other products.
Unfortunately Dailys stock everything, but mark their price up dramatically.
If you are in the 'burbs try either Press Start (Browns Plains) or Brisbane Online (Ashgrove) or Wargames Warhouse (Stafford). Wicked Games have closed store, but you can still get them online at www.wickedgames.com.au and they have a great secondhand collection.

As to Milsims, yes they stock most, but not all material. I still can't find a copy of Bluffside: City on the Edge and their prices arent that good compared to some local retailers. I do like their sales but both items I bought were slightly damaged by the tim I got them.

I never actually order online, i like my books immediately..

I've used Ace comics in brisbane, they weren't too bad at all.

But i'm in rockhampton now, and they fairly suck at stocking my needs, so I just wait till i visit brisbane, or get it sent up

Well, after finding GR's Book of the Righteous and its $90 price tag locally I'm wondering does anyone use any US stores? is there any that offer discounts and ship to Australia?
