Awesome blow and AoOs

That's fine. You can be wrong. *grin*
Yep, I sure can be. I don't think I am wrong in this case but I could be. I believe my position to be more consistent with rules as they are written and the other existing game mechanisms. If there are rules that undermine my position I would be very interested in seeing them.

Just to be clear: Custserv's answer seems to indicate that if you move a foe (via awesome blow, telekenisis, sneezing too hard, etc ...), that foe's movemebt will not provoke an AoO from you, but it will provoke AoOs from other creatures. Of course, without the reasoning for the custserv answer, we can not be sure of how this reasoning should be applied to anything other than awesome blow.

From the SRD:

Bull Rush Results: If you beat the defender’s Strength check result, you push him back 5 feet. If you wish to move with the defender, you can push him back an additional 5 feet for each 5 points by which your check result is greater than the defender’s check result. You can’t, however, exceed your normal movement limit. (Note: The defender provokes attacks of opportunity if he is moved. So do you, if you move with him. The two of you do not provoke attacks of opportunity from each other, however.)
Yep. The rules are wrong.

This goes right with 15 lbs longswords as "rules that are so wrong I can't in good countenance follow them."

Where is this "15 lb longsword" you keep talking about?

I just checked my PHB, and the longsword is 4lbs, and the greatsword is 8 lbs. The only 15 lbs weapon is the Orc Double-Axe.
