Baby - T-0 and Counting!

Hmm, it took me 5 minutes from my sitting down to me coming out. She didn't even get to the right bed. Wrote her details on the tissue cover on her bed.

I hope everything goes well for you guys. Obviously your "little Olaf/Olafette" is waiting to be fashionably late, and just wants to make a grand entrance in the world.

Thank you all for the well wishes. It seems that Olaf/Olafette Jr. wants to keep us waiting a little bit longer. My wife said that it obviously takes after me as it just wants 5 minutes more sleep.

We had an appointment with the doctor this morning. All is still ok and normal. If my wife doesn't go into labour before then, she will be induced on Wednesday night. So, if everything goes reasonably well, we should have a little baby boy or girl sometime Thursday.

Well we're at day T+6 now and still nothing. Mrs Olaf has started to have pains/cramps/something (although I don't think it is contractions) for the last day or so. She didn't sleep well at all last night. We'll be at the hospital for her to be induced in a little over 10 hours from now. At the moment it looks like the baby is going to need a little help in getting out.

Well we have the baby! I'll post a new thread (with pictures!) about it shortly. All went well and Mum and baby are doing fine.
