Don't be mouthin' off ta Doc. The kid did mighty good with this one. As mentioned before, did ya READ the link he posted 'fore ya blasted him? Everything that has happened to the PCs happened cuz of actions they took and decisions they made. 'Sdies, which is worse? TPK or the occasional hand of fate? In Doc's case at least it was predetermined plot bubble instead of pull it outta yer rear at the last second cuz ya messed up stuff.

I love Dragons. Along with Undead and plain, vanilla humanoids with cleverly chosen class levels, the Dragon is my all time favorite monster(especially after I got Monster's Handbook from the store at this site). ROCK ON DOC!
