Just noticed this...

Balor has Damage reduction cold iron and good, while most other demons have Damage reduction cold iron or good or just good.

Does that mean you need a weapon, which is both, cold iron and good?

I guess so...

Yes. Your weapon can't simply be Cold Iron, or simply be Good, it has to be Cold Iron AND Good. Or you have to have the Good Subtype and be wielding a Cold Iron weapon.

Yep. It's not too common, but it's there. If I'm not mistaken, Vampires have DR of Silver and Magic.

Unless I'm mistaken, Summoned celestial animals have the Good subtype and do piercing and slashing damage with their natural weapons.

In earlier editions, Rakshasas were slain instantly by a blessed crossbow bolt, if I'm not mistaken.
