Been looking at this and the rules, and I can't find in the rule book where the Barbarian gets the extra 2D8 on a crit hit. Can anyone please give me the ref. page please.

This thread is from three years ago, it refers to playtest rules from before the 5e books were printed.

thought so, just wanted to check if the extra 2d8 was still in the rules or if the barbarian had been scaled down since then has ATM me and me friends are playing our first game with the rules and my friend who is playing the Barb is thinking that the spell casters do more damage then he does so we are trying to find out how to max him out.
