Bastion of Broken Souls for lower level pcs

I have a group of four pcs, an 18th level fighter (archer), a 16th level wizard (casts as 14th level, but has a +2 ecl), a cleric 14/fighter1, and a monk 12/rogue3. These guys are mostly power gamers and have more than the allotted gold piece value in magic for their levels as described in the dmg. The wizard, for example, is an outsider and stays polymorphed into marilith form any time they are away from civilization.

Can this group survive the BoBS? Or will running them through this essentially be a tpk?

It really varies. You'll have to read it as a DM, and compare each individual encounter to their capabilities. The Cathezar lair encounter and the soulmarauders in the bastion could be particularly nasty.

The Cathezar lair encounter is the one that really worries me. 23 chain attacks each round! after the first encounter, the lower level guys will probably gain a level, so that will help some, but they'll still be a couple of levels below the suggested 18th.

Why not run them through Lord of the Iron Fortress (WOTC) or Demon God's Fane (Malhavoc) first? Both are for ~15th level and you can beef up the encounters if you think your PCs are particularly powerful.
