Jello2424

First Post
SoIm tryin to make a Dwarven Barbarian with a good balance of damage and hp, but would lean towards damage if I had to choose. Current (Lvl 1) Stats are:
Str 17 Dex 13 Con 16 Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 12
Max Hp 15. Im torn as to which path I should Take(The campaign starts at lvl 3)
I also dont know which feats to take
Thanks
Sorry For Unclarity
This is my first post and I only just finished my first campaign

Hey, welcome.

You don't get feats until level for anyway so don't worry about them. Even then you are best tO max strength first.

I take it you want to use a warhammer, which can be one or two handed, or a maul (2d6 damage) which is two handed. Can you clarify which one?

Yeah. Im using a warhammer, sorry for the confusion. Also im super sorry for being so unclear, but im a Barbarian, not a Fighter. Sorry and thanks.

You should've done 17s in STR and CON so at lvl 4, you can move them both to 18s. If you want to focus on damage, then you might want to take berserker over battlerager at lvl 3.

I cant put 17s in both. I put 15 in both and got +2 to str and +1 to con because im a mountain dwarf. Thanks tho. I think im leaning towards battlerager.

Sorry I meant I put 15 in str then +2 and 14 in con then +2
With unarmored defense, you're better off with 15 14 15 8 8 10 so that STR and CON are 17 and DEX are 14 you'll start with a 15 AC. At lvl 4 you add your +1 to STR and CON, and you get more damage, more HP, and your AC goes to 16. At 8 add 2 to STR, at 12 add 2 to CON. So they both are 20, or instead of bringing CON to 20, you can take the tough feat. To get more HP. Take great weapon master at 16 and tough or 20 CON at 19
