Battlestar Season 3 on DVD?

Has anyone heard anything about the release of the Battlestar Galactica - Season Three on DVD yet? I’ve been poking around and I’m getting nothing.

I was once rumored to be released in August, but that did not happen.

I was poking around after watching Razor and saw something about March. I don't remember where it was and can't speak for it's accuracy, but that's what I remember.

Best bet is about a month before season 4 starts, so its release may be affected by the strike as well.

Damnit... I want me some BSG Season 3. While it had some of the worst episodes, "The Woman, King" I'm looking at you, it also had some of the best. Hell, I even liked the boxing episode...

And any word on the season being released on Blu-ray?

Is some or all of this season available on iTunes for purchase? Just curious. I don't have cable, so DVD rentals are the way I have been keeping up with this series (a year behind).

You can buy the whole season on Amazon as part of their Unbox line. Full AVIs, legit and DVD quality.

I bought the whole Season 3 for like $30, downloaded them to my PC, then my XBox 360 streamed them via Windows Media Center to my 61" Samsung 1080p.

Suuuuuuuuper sweeeeeeeeeeet.

(FWIW, I just finished watching them all, and got my BSG3 fix)

What have you heard?

I am pretty certain I own the 3rd season DVD set (I didn't really watch it yet, though), and I think it was a UK Import. I really fail to understand how it can be available in Germany/UK but not in the US! I mean, usually, I'd have to wait years (at best) before a new season/show its my country, but I can get the DVDs before US fans?

Well, I certainly won't complain. Maybe US fans need to get a DVD player for the EU region and get an European import...

It used to run on Saturday nights along with Firefly. It seems to be off the schedule at the moment, though there's still a page advertising Season 3 on the Universal HD site.
